Here's Companion moored in Bremerhaven docks last year.

Atlantic Companion is a RORO-/container vessel, built in Malmö, Sweden in 1984. She carries cargo between Europe and North America, one trip takes five weeks. The trip starts in Gothenburg, followed by Antwerp - Liverpool - Halifax - New York - Baltimore - Portsmouth - New York - Halifax - Liverpool - Antwerp - Bremerhaven and finally back to Gothenburg and crew change.
I'm working as second engineer, and have been there for more than three years now. Working in the engine department means that you are responsible for all technical equipment as well as the electrical, so not many days are the same.
I will be back with more information about "my" ship soon.
