Dunkerque, here I am!!!! We arrives here the day before yesterday and drydocked yesterday morning, EARLY! I went up at 5.45 and was sent out on deck to help the people from the shipyard to connect the fire water. It probably was a beautiful morning, but I wasn't awake enough to see that. The problems started right away, the two guys I was supposed to assist didn't speak english. I tried to tell them that they had connected one of the hoses in the wrong place, but they didn't understand. Finally the captain helped me out, he had an english-speaking guy with him on the bridge, so I told the captain how I wanted the hoses, he told the guy on the bridge, who told the guys on deck... Hm, longway communication, but it worked out. After that I was awake and in good mood and have been since. They work really fast and I think everything will be finish in time, if this continues. I haven't brought my camera downstairs (I've only been on board for six days) so no pictures yet, but there will be!
I will get back with an update soon, hopefully tomorrow!

Iiiiiiiih, it's time to leave again! As usual I just started packing and have probably forgotten half of the stuff I intend to bring with me. It's funny, I've been doing this for more than four years, and I never learn to pack. No matter how I try, I always bring too much and ALWAYS forget something important. I've just come to the conclusion that if I haven't learn yet, there's no hope whatsoever, so I might just stop trying.

I will get a very nice and EARLY start tomorrow, my flight is 7.30, I need to check in an hour before. It takes at least half an hour to the airport and I need to get my tickets before I check in. So I think I need to get up around five, m m m, shiiiit.... Then we have my little hang-up - I DON'T like flying, especially not September 11 and especially not since I just heard about the little accident with an SAS-plane between Copenhagen and Ã…lborg yesterday. Of course, if you rely on statstics it's not very likely that anything would happen so soon after, but when it comes to flying I'm not the least realistic and I always believe in the worst.

IF I manage the flight to Manchester and IF I have Internet access in Dunkerque I will update my blog during our stay at the shipyard, otherwise I will post my pictures as soon as I come home in about a month.

The picture is stolen from a canadian webpage (sorry about that) and is a De Havilland Q400 (think I got that right...), like the plane from yesterdays accident. Lucky for me, I'm not travelling with one of those:-) Am I a normal person - don't think so...
